One of the best players in the NBA, Kevin Durant is fervently seeking a trade from the Brooklyn Nets, his current team.
The 33-year-old today gave the team’s owner an ultimatum: Fire both Steve Nash, the head coach, and Bobby Marks, the general manager, or trade him to another team.
After winning two championships with the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018, the forward, who was born in Washington, joined the Nets in 2019. In 2014, while playing with the Oklahoma City Thunder, he was also named league MVP.
He is under a four-year, $194 million contract with the Nets despite not having had the success he had hoped for with the organization. With earnings of that magnitude, he has naturally been able to use his company Thirty Five Ventures to invest in a wide range of companies.
Moreover, he has amassed the most costly automobile collection of any NBA player.
In fαct, his garage, which is worth $4,369,741, is the ninth most costly of all athlete’s garages.
Here is a photo of Kevin Durant’s $4.3 million car collection.
1966 Ford GT40
Unbelievably, the value of Durant’s whole collection may be attributed to just this one car.
The automobile designed to defeat Ferrari at the 24 Hours of LeMans is reportedly owned by Kevin Durant and is worth an estimated $2.5 million.
Unfortunately, no images have yet surfaced showing which specific GT40 is his.
Standing at a reputed 6-foot-10, but most likely closer to 7 feet due to his propensity to overestimate his height, we can only imagine how difficult it would be for KD to get inside the teeny vintage racer.
As just 105 of the car have ever been produced, it is more likely that he purchαsed it as an investment.
Lamborghini Aventador Roadster
One of the few current supercars in Durant’s collection is a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, which is valued at over $450,000.
It has a 6.5-liter V12 engine that, depending on the model you choose, can produce up to 690 horsepower.
The Aventador Roadster must be a bit of a favorite among NBA stars because LeBron James also owns one.
It’s without a doubt one of Kevin Durant’s collection of automobiles’ hottest supercars.
Rolls-Royce Phantom
The Rolls-Royce Phantom is the pinnacle of wealthy vehicles, so it makes sense that Kevin Durant would purchαse one.
It has a starting price of $460,000 and is powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12.
Durant could want to be driving, but given how comfortable it is designed to be, it’s more probable that he would prefer to be sitting in the back.
Ferrari California
After being selected by the Seattle SuperSonics with the second overall pick in 2007, Kevin Durant would have purchαsed one of the first vehicles in his NBA career, the 2009-model Ferrari California.
As a pre-facelift model, Durant’s California would be equipped with a magnificent 4.3-liter V8 producing 453 horsepower.
When brand-new, it cost about $200,000.
Values currently range between $60k and $80k.
Custom Chevrolet Camaro that matches his shoes
Nothing will demonstrate Durant’s passion of vehicles more than this.
With its matte red body and matching wheels, Durant’s $42,500 Chevrolet Camaro SS is impossible to miss.
Even ‘KD’ emblems have been placed on the vehicle.
Nike even released a special “V8” colorway of his KD 8 shoes to commemorate the occasion.
They match each other in red, as you might anticipate.
The Camaro is not his only American vehicle.
In addition, he owns a $28,000 Jeep Wrangler, a $46,000 Lincoln Continental, and a $76,000 Cadillac Escalade.
