Apparently, much of Joe’s early wealth came from playing basketball just out of high school in the States. However, the money didn’t last long as his spending habits became out of control. While speaking to Forbes, Joe said, “With my first £150K contract, I bought £100K Ferrari.”

In an interview with Skysports, Joe said, “Predominantly my businesses are bars, clubs, and restaurants in all the fun places.” While speaking to Business Insider, he elaborated, “It’s really difficult to get people to do lunges and eat salad, but it was easy getting people to get pissed, drink gin and tonic, party, and eat pizza.”

Fournier has tried to diversify his portfolio by getting his feet wet in the real estate industry. Purportedly, he has also invested in the stock market, which has believed to increase his net worth exponentially. Regardless of whether he is a billionaire or not, it is undeniable that Joe is certainly a unique individual.

The bout came into existence after a disagreement between the pair, with Joe telling David Haye he could beat him in the ring. Despite the outcome, the two remain good friends.
