According to the Daily Mail, a rescue squad recently attempted to free a dog that had been trapped in a sewer in Bahia Blanca, Buenos Aires state, eastern Argentina, for more than four days.

According to the video, the unfortunate dog was stuck in the sewer, unable to move, yet he was able to breathe by putting his head, nose, and paws above the drain’s surface.

Nobody knows how he got there, but the municipality of Baha Blanca in Argentina, along with Civil Defense officials, managed to rescue the terrified dog.

The beautiful puppy who had been trapped in a sewer for several days stuck his head out, terrified and unsure what to do.

Neighbors from that city’s Roca and Terrada intersection arrived to provide him food and drink as they contacted 911 to report what was going on.
